I should save this post for Monday, but this weekend I’ve been kicking ass through some of the books on my list. I finished The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, which I will be reviewing tomorrow morning. I am starting on The Witches of East End, a fun, fluffy read before I get serious again with a classic.

But my true purpose of writing this is to let you know that my husband is reading A Storm of Swords and he’s just a couple of chapters before THE THING that happens, and I want him to just get through it already, so I can be like, OH MY GOD CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? And he’ll be all like, OMG I KNOW. The anticipation is killing me. I’m on book five, so there’s a moratorium on discussing the Song of Ice and Fire series for fear I will divulge some spoilers. But after he reads about THE THING then at least we can talk about THE THING.

Phew. I feel much better.
