Hosted by ShouldBeReading, FRIDAY FINDS showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list… whether you found them online, or in a bookstore, or in the library — wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).
I’m horrible around the holidays, because I always see stuff for myself that I know no one is going to buy me, and what do I do? I buy it for myself. I just got a $25 Amazon gift card and immediately went online and spent it on books I’ve had in my cart forever. So here are my Friday Finds – the books I bought myself for Christmas:
How to Tell if your Cat is Plotting to Kill You by Matthew Inman
Creator of hilarious website The Oatmeal, this is Inman’s second published book of his slightly offensive and so-true comics. I’m looking forward to reading this one and laughing my ass off. Also, I have two cats, so knowing whether they are plotting to kill me will be useful information.
Drinking with Strangers: Music Lessons from a Teenage Bullet Belt by Butch Walker
This is an inside look at the music career of Butch Walker, someone whom I have recently discovered. I’m interested in reading his story as he seems like an intriguing guy.
I have long been looking forward to reading this one. I just hadn’t gotten around to ordering it. No time like the holidays to read an apocolyptic vampire novel, I always say!
Apocalyptic vampires? Curious… Thanks for sharing and have a merry Christmas!
Here is my FF:
